Starting Off! Beginners Guide for New People

So, you are starting off! That's the first step to joining The Shinobi Way. The following are what you need to know in order to have a smooth start.

1) Be sure to read over all of the rules in the Newbies Read! and General Rules. This will give you an understanding on the do's and do not's on this site. Understanding these rules will give you the tools needed to make Roleplaying and interacting with other members pleasurable.

2) Figure out what village you want to go to. There are two starting villages at the moment: Sky and Lava. Read over each of the village descriptions to see which environment suits you the best.

3) Begin Character Creation. This is the first step to creating your very own character. Follow the rules there. If you have any questions, feel free to ask a member of staff or any willing member that can walk you through it if it seems overwhelming.

4) Pick a face claim! Yup, we do face claims here! You can see the list of available claims Here. We don't accept face claims of characters from the Naruto Universe.

5) Once your Character Creation is done, you will be given starting Ryo. Use this to purchase items or your first weapon at the Shop. If you choose to buy a weapon, you will be given a weapon voucher to create your weapon. Go to Here to begin your weapon creation.

6) Create your profile! Now that all of that is settled, go to your village appropriate profile area Here to begin creating a profile. You can learn more information on creating a profile in the Newbies Read! and General Rules forum. If you want information on how to create your profile, feel free to look at other member's profiles to see how they created theirs. Be sure to keep this up-to-date with any changes.

7) Begin Training! Okay, your profile is extremely important, but so is your training. Create a Training Thread within the Character Archives under your village and create a Training Thread. This thread will be used to document changes to your: Bloodline, Combat Specialty, Abilities, and more. For rules on how to do a training thread, read Here

After you do that, you are set! Feel free to RP within your village and interact with your fellow shinobi! Since you are most likely going to start off as a student, be sure to begin classes. You get very valuable skills in the Academy depending on the class you take. You can find that information Here. But RPing is still super important and it is what's gonna forward your character.

Now that you know what to do to start with, feel free to read through Sub-System Rules, Mission Rules, and the Battle Rules at your leisure. There is a lot of information to take in, but while you are here, you'll eventually learn everything you need to know. If you have any questions, however, just ask.
